Junior Golf Memberships
Junior(10-18)* $510.00
Junior tee times are
restricted to 10:00am and later on weekdays and after
3:00 P.M. weekends and holidays. Junior members are
entitled to book weekday play seven days in advance,
weekends and holidays can be booked after 3:00 p.m.
Monday, prior to the weekend. Eligible for club junior
field day events. No charging privileges in the clubhouse
without a letter of guarantee on file from voting
member parent/guardian.

Juvenile* $0.
Member who is 16 years or younger in age
whose parent is a voting member of Twenty Valley.
May play free when accompanied
by parent but must play in the times
as laid out for “Junior” members. No tee
time booking privileges. Eligible for club junior
field day events.

Junior Golf Program
OBJECTIVES:
To provide the Junior golf
members of the Twenty Valley Golf Club an enjoyable golf
experience emphasizing fun through training and on course
play at varying levels of skills and competition.

DELIVERY:
The Junior Golf Program will
be delivered through three levels of instruction and play.
They are the Beginner Juniors, Club Juniors and Touring
Juniors (Inter Club and Ben Hogan Tour Juniors). The specifics
for each category are set out in the following information.
Beginner Junior Golfers
(Future Links Program):
The Coordinator of the Beginner Junior program
is Mike Persia. This program is reserved for juniors who
are first time golfers or not able to play 9 holes of golf
without assistance.
Clinic dates for 2007 are as follows: July 7th, 14th, 21st,
28th (all Saturdays), Saturday August 11th,
and Sunday August 19th (Skills Competition, small Field
Day and Banquet)
There are NO rain dates
The clinic runs 2 sessions; 12:00 pm – 1:30 pm or
1:30 – 3:00 pm.
Teaching will emphasize ball striking, chipping and pitching,
and putting. Weekly lessons will integrate small competitions
to reinforce the drills of the week.
Sunday August 19th is the clinic Skills Competition and
Field Day and banquet.
Fees for 2007:
The fee for the Beginner Junior Golf Program
(all 6 sessions):
Members: $30 dollars per child.
The Members rate is 0nly the children and/or grandchildren
of a member.
Non-Members: $60 dollars per child.
A Non-member is any parent that has no membership affiliation
to 20 Valley Golf Course.
Nieces, nephews, friends and neighbours of a member are
considered “Non-members”
Club Juniors:
Reserved for any junior member
who is able to play nine holes of golf without assistance.
Instruction will take place on the golf course and range.
Touring Juniors (Inter
Club and Ben Hogan Tour):
Reserved for any junior member
who is able to play golf at proficient level and who has
the desire to play and travel outside of the golf club.
The emphasis will be on identifying junior tours that exist
within the region and facilitating the attendance through
volunteers. This will cover the Bantam, Juvenile and Junior
levels for male and female juniors. Range instruction will
focus on ball striking, chipping and putting. On course
play will focus on the rules, speed of play, etiquette,
golf course management and the mental aspect of the game.
Selected members of the club will be encouraged to take
part in play to aid in instruction. Touring Juniors will
be encouraged to take part in the Club Junior events, Junior
Inter Club Tour, Ben Hogan Tour and the Club Championships.
The age categories are as follows. Bantam; under 13 years,
Juvenile; ages 14 and 15 and Junior; ages 16 to 18.
